  2. The GOOD uniform • This is the good uniform which is basically a tie, shirt tucked in, sweater (optional) grey pants and black shoes.

  3. The BAD uniform • This uniform is wrong because the tie is basically hanging off, the shirt is untucked and he is wearing unauthorized sunglasses.

  4. The student dress code! This Is the student dress code which all Qatar Academy have to follow. This code is taped on almost all walls of the school to remind the students everyday to be wearing the correct uniform.

  5. The policy This is the official uniform policy of Qatar academy from the handbook which is given to every student in the school at the beginning of each year. Unfortunately most students lose this book often so they need slight reminders from the teachers to straighten up their tie or tuck in their shirt.

  6. Good working students • This is a picture of students wearing the correct uniform working well and concentrating as well as having a little bit of fun with their work by talking and communicating in the correct way.

  7. While having some fun • Well sometimes students need to loosen up, most teachers are ok with a little bit of fun as long as its not getting out of hand.

  8. What is a community • A community is a group of people in a particular society with traits in common such as culture language or even currency.

  9. One characteristic of a community • A community’s one most important characteristic is its culture because it defines the people as well as the environment of the community.

  10. An example • One example of the community characteristic is the national system which is international or multinational. Which means no racism at all as well as no nationalism

  11. Different nationalities • There are 39 different nationalities in Qatar Academy which is a wide range of countries and nations.

  12. Why are we doing this • We are doing this unit to recognize cultures and communities and their characteristics of the middle east.
