JPLSC　Activity

The JPLSC meeting held from May 10-14, 2004, in Hong Kong focused on advancing localization efforts for UBL in Japan through three major activities. Phase 1 involved understanding UBL and OASIS rules, Phase 2 focused on translating UBL specifications into Japanese while mapping them to other standards, and Phase 3 emphasized implementation through experimentation and extension. Additionally, the meeting addressed the need for tailored promotional strategies, including building a Japanese OASIS website, translating guidelines, and organizing workshops to enhance understanding and adoption of UBL in Japanese businesses.
