Who May Earn Certificate? • Any current SGMP member
Why Should You Pursue GMS? • Dedication to the profession • Helps with on-the-job performance • Builds confidence and credibility • May result in pay increases
How Do You Begin the Program? • Fill out a Letter of Commitment • Confirmation packet will be sent • Timeline - three years from the time you fill out the Letter of Commitment
Where Can You Register for the Classes/Program? • Our classes are structured into the monthly meetings which occur WHEN of the month unless indicated
When Do You Receive the Certificate? • Final application must be completed • Chapter application fee must be paid • Must be a SGMP Member • Certificates are awarded at chapter meeting
How Do You Maintain Certificate? • Continuing education requirements must be job-related education • 20 hours in five years • Maintain active membership status by paying yearly dues
How Do You Renew Certificate? • Must have 20 hours of professional development • A renewal application must be provided to chapter leaders for review • Chapter renewal fee is collected • New certificate is issued
