  4. Equipment • Have the correct equipment from having a well tuned instrument and new strings to something as small as having a bottle of water if you’re a singer.

  5. Know your stuff! • Know exactly where you want to be and how you’re going to get there.

  6. Practice! Practice! Practice! • Its like learning a new language

  7. Choose a genre! •Punk, Rock, Country, Pop, hip-hop etc…

  8. Contacts! • Ask around for small gigs. Charity events are a good start to help get known.

  9. Research! • You can so much from other artists. God didn’t make ears for hats.
