Mahanti, for his kind support throughout the project work. • We are very much thankful to peoples living in the village for their support to resolve their problems patiently. • we are great thankful to the Panchayat President, Mrs. Anju kurrey, who took the job seriously and completed in very short duration for the welfare of people. • At last we kindly thanks to our guidance teacher Mr. A.k.uppadhyay[FCSA] & Mr. N.k. gupta to help us.

  3. SHORT INTRODUTION OF VILLAGE BAKARKUDA The way to rich village Bakarkuda is following- In (CG ) Bilaspur is a district, where Bakarkuda is a village in block Masturi. Which is 30km from Bilaspur and 3km from our school. Bakarkuda is a village, which has population of 2500 people. The heart of villagers is pure just like honey.   5. ABOUT THEIR LIFE STYLE • All villagers live their life in very simple way. • They are not highly qualified but well behaved. • Most of the villagers want employment but they don’t get. • They want to develop their village but due to lack of Information they do not get employments.

  6. They straggle for living and also face to poverty . They survive there life very critically. What they work in a day, this give food to survive there life. They depend on there animal also. Unity of the people is high and also they depend on each other for purpose. Many of them used gutakha for their style and also playing cards. They also play entertainment like gammat, pandvani, Lila etc.

  8. SOURCES OF INCOME FOR • DAILY LIFE • Agriculture • Crafting • Through animals • Laboring • Small Scale Industries

  9. 1. There are only two sources of food. First is there craft fields and second is governmental source. 2. In this year people loss their crop because of heavy rain in the last stage of cutting the crop. So they struggle for living. 3. This year they are mainly depend on governmental source which is “CM FOOD GRAIN PROGRAMME”. But under it only thirty five kg grain is provided which is not sufficient for a month. • Work for needs

  10. School most of the children of the village are going to school or Aangan badi. The villagers are much concerned about their education. But the condition of only one government school present in Bakarkuda is not well • Timing-11:30 am to 4:00 pm but the timing should be 11:30 am to 5:00pm • Classes-Only up to middle school. But it should be up to higher classes. • Classrooms- school building’s condition is very petty. • Teachers available-lack of teachers they don’t follow the timing of school. Cont.

  11. Teachers are taking classes in “Mangal bhavan” because of the lack of classrooms. there is a new building for classroom but it is not used for this purpose. Mid-day-meal is not distributing properly.

  12. ROADS • There is no proper cleanliness on the road. • There is a lack of water in village. But, as you can see that the water is flowing/wasting on the main roads of the village. • There are no any street lights on electric pole.

  13. In the village Bakarkuda water problem is one of the main problem for the villagers. There are no sufficient water supply for villagers because there is no any water tank in whole village. Water supply by tape line is done only in half portion of village. So another portion suffer badly from it. Some hand pumps are dug out but all are not in proper condition. It is also a reason for lack of water. Where there is only one pond in whole village instead of it no any tube-well is connected for it. WATER AVAILIBILITY IN THE VILLAGE

In village many type of diseases are we see. many time causes death Like polio and common diseases But government of India takes many action upon these type of diseases Just like in every village a common doctor, nurse and hospital should be made And many types of village chinning program are stated by government of India Heart problem are many time we see in village that because of breathing polluted air Solution of this problem are People’s health

  15. Condition of a Poor Lady • At lastly we went a house, which was a simple but the heart of the lady of that house was very pure. She told us about her problem, that is- • “She has only a son(10yrs) • who is suffering from a • disease of neck like tonsil • but in a bigger form and • doctors are not telling • anything about it. He can’t take food and water properly by own. This case is running since 15 days. They have no money for checkup the boy and no one helping them, and she can’t ask for the money to anyone”. Now what can she do for her lovely child?

POOR CONDITION OF VILLAGERS • Today it is lightning Fast day after it they live in poor condition. • They tie the animal in front of door in courtyard. • In some house they putout the drain through courtyard. • Government running many project's after it, they have no idea, How can they earn money? • They earn mensam very less money still, Many villager are sinking in RESIN’S. • In some places, group of villager are playing CARD’S

What they want from • the government • The villagers want that government should listen them. • They want to be solved their problems and co-operation of local officers to solve the problem. • They want a water tank in village for fulfillment of water supply. • Farmer’s of village saying to us, the profit of whatever project’s running through the government should directly meet to the farmer’s need. • They said local officers are very corrupted, so please take action for it.

  18. Member of self sustain group conface from their problem, they are can’t be able to give good quality of food to the children of Angan bari, primary school and middle school because of the money is not sufficient which is given by the government for mid-day-mill. • Check increasing price (which is increasing continuously) because of it local people (farmer and labor) facing many problem.

PROJECTS OF GOVERNMENT FOR PEOPLE • MGNREGA- Some work is done under it but villagers do not get payment of it for some six months. • Women Strength Programme-One of the main project related to it for women is- Self Sustain Group. Which is running in the village Bakarkuda. There is more than one group of women, who are doing work for their earn money. • Sarva shiksha abhiyan- givefacility to all people to send their children & relatives to school without any cost in government school

  21. SOLUTION OF IT WE SUGGEST • We instruct sarpanch to make water-tank in village for proper supply of water to each and every part of village. • We also instruct to dig two or three new ponds for villagers where they can bath freely. • We suggest villagers to collect rain water for their daily uses like-irrigation, bathing and washing clothes and cattle. We also tell the advantages of it . • We tell them to make “RAIN WATER HARVESTING”.

  22. WHAT CAN WE DO TO OVERCOME POVERTY? • We try to take draw kind attention of government toward people of village. • We should try to aware them. • We try our best to facilate them.

  23. Government project followed by villagers • Project NREGA is running in the village but money not given by the sarpanch from near about one year. • They struggle for water since, still they had not succeed. • There is no any street light on the road pole, so light should be fitted.

  24. FACE TO FACE CONTECT Q=QUESTION ASKED BY US A= ANSWER GIVEN BY VILLAGERS Q1.-What is the condition of Rojgar Guarantee Yojna in the village? A- Project and its work are going on but its payment is delayed from near about one year. Q2.-What are the profits they getting from the governmental projects? A- Government is doing much for the peoples. But the profits are not totally reachable to them because there is a gape between them and all sorts of profit is dumping to this gape. Q3.-What is the condition of ‘Education for all’ programme in the village? A- It is not running properly. Teachers are not available abundantly. Available teachers are not much concerned about children’s study.

  25. Questioning to sarpanch .-Why villagers not get their payment of “NREGA”? A.-We do not get any money to distribute them and I don’t want to tell more about it. Q.-Why you not tell to villagers about the different government programme? A.-If they ask about it then we tell them. Q.-Why do you not take monthly meeting with villagers? A.-I am always busy in my work. I don't have enough time for it. Q.-What are you doing for development of village and villagers? A.-I do many thing for village. Many programme are running under my guidance.

CONCLUSION OF THE PROJECT • Most of the suggestions suggested by us are accepted by the villagers. • Now they have own fund to solve their problems. • They got a new water tank for proper water supply. • They spread a new trap tape line in the village with the help of local government. • Now they have some better medical facility than earlier. • Their village road have street light. • Now two new ponds are digging under NREGA • Villagers got their payment properly through bank.

  27. WHAT ARE FUTURE PLANINGS • We suggest them to make a fund with the help of villagers, government and other organization and use this fund for developing of village. • We also suggest to improve the quality of education by using many techniques such as by appointing good teachers, using computers for teaching purpose, constructing new school buildings etc. • To make healthy village and healthy people a hospital or first aid centre.
