What is the Qin Unification? • 221 BCE : The First Emperor of the Qin dynasty, Qin Shi Huang (秦始皇) , a successful prodigy, set out at age 27, and conquered what is now Vietnam, China’s southeastern coast. • Qin, also occupied most of northern China. • In 21 B.C.E the State of Qin Unified china, making a bureaucracy, where everybody reported to the emperor.

Quick Facts • The Qin was ruled through a fundamental bureaucracy • The Qin built the Great wall to prevent attacks. • However, the Qin reformed to quickly, their laws and punishments collapsed, making the Qin fail after the death of their first emperor • The name Qin, gave china its name today.

The Terracotta Army 兵馬俑 • The Terracotta Army is statues of the warriors and horses of the first emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang • Date back to 210 B.C.E • There are a total of 8,000 soldiers, 130 chariots with 520 horses and 150 cavalry horses, the greater part of which are still buried in the pits.
