  3. Complete Ionic Equation • It includes all the ions in solution. • The states of all compounds are aqueous, unless otherwise indicated. • Solid states are represented by  or (s). • 2K+ + 2Cl- + Pb+2 + 2NO3-  PbCl2 + 2K+ + 2NO3-

  4. Net-Ionic Equation • It only gives information on species that undergo a chemical change. • The spectator ionsare omitted from the complete ionic equation. • Solid states are represented by  or (s). • Pb+2 + 2Cl- PbCl2 
