  4. Habit One • Read, Write and Talk • Communicate with peers, TA’s, Profs and your parents • Remember – going to class does not make you a nerd

  5. Habit Two • Rid yourself of bad habits • Re-invent yourself • Make the absolute most of this fresh start • This occurs very rarely in life

  6. Habit Three • Make connections • Build relationships • Don’t make it your only priority

  7. Habit Four • Make your own lunch! • This is a transition phase of your life • You are an adult now!

  8. Habit Five • Exploit us! • Use the resources available to you • The University has resources/services you cannot imagine!

  9. Habit Six • Shock your parents and friends (but in a good way!) • Do one crazy thing • Expand your repertoire

  10. Habit Seven • Be an effective time manager • You’ve seen all the Simpson’s/The Hill’s episodes already
