  4. Cheetahs can also be called the felidae • Cheetahs can run 70 mile per hour • Cheetahs are the fastest land animals on earth • Cheetahs can run so fast there lungs and heart need to be very big Time to Drop Some Knowledge

  5. Life Span They live from 15 to 27 years in the wild They live 15 to 20 years in captivity They are endangered

  7. Climate • African plains and semi - desert regions can be 120 Fahrenheit • Bush land and grass land plains are below 0 to 20 Celsius

  8. Land forms • Cheetahs live in areas with lots of trees • They pounce on their pray from the trees • Cheetahs live in flat lands • They like flat lands because they can catch as much speed as they need to get their prey

  10. Prey and Predators • Hyenas , lions and leopards eat cheetahs • Cheetahs eat small animals like gazelles • Cheetahs use their speed to catch their prey • Cheetahs don’t have a problem catching their prey

Behavior • They use speed to catch prey • They run to get away from their predators • They play fight with their babies to teach them to fight • They sit in trees (really high up) so they can protect themselves. • They can sit low in the grass so that they can pounce on their prey. • They sprint from 500 feet away from the prey and when they catch their prey they bite their neck and shake their prey to kill it.

Cheetahs lay in the grass with their special hair so the prey does not see them. They have small ears so they can use them to hear their prey They have long legs to run fast. They have a long tail to help them keep balance in trees
