It has a mild sea climate, while the north is subtropical. It rains a lot. New Zealand has a very beautiful natural landscape with green hills and mountains. It is famous for its hot springs. The cities, many of which lie on a bay, are clean and have a natural deep harbor. Its national bird is a little one that cannot fly. The Maori were the earliest people to come to New Zealand. More than 125 years later, British people started to settle there.
