Day 2 Amount Started- $2,608 Amount Spent- $63 Amount Left- $2,545 • Itinerary- We climbed green volcanic cones in the heart of the city of Auckland • Deep craters and ancient Maori earthworks. • There were harbors and islands visible from up there. • We ate at the Greene Volcano restaurant on the mountain • Expenditures- We spent $63! Day 5 Amount Started- $2,520 Amount Spent- $15 Amount Left- $2,505 • Itinerary- We visited the Wairere Boulders • A geomorphic and world unique valley • We went on an easy and wind sheltered path • It lead over, around and under the boulders. • We dined at the exquisite Boulder Diner • Expenditures- We spent $15 Wairere Boulders Okaihau, Northland Region
Day 5 (cont.) Amount Started- $2,520 Amount Spent- $0 Amount Left- $2,505 • Itinerary- We also went to pet a llama. • He was very wooly • We climbed up Mt. Killomenjara and enjoyed a beautiful view of the countryside with the llama. • We also shared our sandwiches and brownies with the llama • And had pop to wash it all down. • Expenditures- Absolutely $0 Petting a llama, on the top of a huge mountain
Day 6 Amount Started- $2,505 Amount Spent- $35 Amount Left- $2,470 • Itinerary- We went to the Craters of the Moon • a cratered valley • peered from viewing platforms into cauldrons of boiling mud. • We enjoyed the fine tastings of the Moon Crater Café • Expenditures- Total spendage $35 Craters of the Moon Taupo, Lake Taupo Region
Day 7 Amount Started- $2,470 Amount Spent- $30 Amount Left- $2,440 • Itinerary- We went to Milford Sound while it was raining • When it rains in Milford Sound dozens of 'temporary waterfalls' cascade down the cliff faces • Some can be as long as 1000 meters. • We devoured delicious grilled cheese, fruit snacks, and parfaits which we brought • Expenditures- Grande Total $30 to get in Milford Sound Milford Sound, Fiordland Region

Day 9 Amount Started- $2,220 Amount Spent- $122 Amount Left- $2,098 • Itinerary- We went to the Pohangina Anticline • It is a fold of rock that is gradually pushing upwards. • In about half a million years it will be a mountain range. • Expenditures- We spent $72 to bike the trails and $50 for food. Riding the trails with our bicycle guide Pohangina Anticline Woodville, Manawatu Region
Amount Started- $2,098 Amount Spent- $298 Amount Left- $1,800 Day 10 • Itinerary- WE FLY BACK HOME!!!! We enjoyed our 70 lbs of peanuts during our flight We became very sick Abby ordered lots of Mountain Dew Expendatures- $298 We decided not to hang off the plane this time!
