The College of Letters & Science is addressing key challenges in student advising through the introduction of a new Student Advising Portal. Current obstacles include inefficient time use, reliance on a paper file system, and difficulty in communication between students and advisors. By implementing an online system that integrates multiple applications, we aim to streamline processes, reduce paper storage, and facilitate collaboration among various departments. This initiative promises to enhance student self-service capabilities and improve the overall advising experience.
