Policy actions required for National/SACOSAN to enhance KM and Information Exchange • SA regional KM hub for sharing best practices in between-SACOSAN (more involvement of citizens) • Regional Cluster and In-Country information sharing systems for for WASH in Emergencies. • School Curriculum, from Info/Knowledge to adoption of practices and Behavior Change (e.g. HWWS)

Lessons learned and recommendations in the area of KM and Information Exchange Data discrepancies and Overload ! • Effective mechanisms to collect data and disseminate information • Coordination to avoid duplication & frustration of communities! • Feedback to community • Village-level knowledge hub resource center/mechanism(?)

Gaps in the area of KM and Information Exchange requiring further discussion/research • Commonly agreed KM framework, focusing on unserved and unreached: “Giving a voice to the voiceless”. • Analysis of Behavior Change (incl. of practitioners) and Social Norms • Optimizing (knowledge gap in the area of KM) and avoiding Information Overload • More focus on Hygiene and SLWM • Focus/Monitoring on Public Health outcomes at scale (from toilet construction, to ending OD, to reduction of Child Mortality)
