GESIA Congratulates All Winners at  GESIAwitnessed a spectacular National Level Seminar on Emerging Technologies, Trends and Opportunities for ICT Industry followed by the most awaited 4th Annual Awards on 9th May 2011 at Royal Jonquil, Cambay Grand, Ahmedabad. Mr Jaimin Shah – President, GESIA welcome delegates, Speakers, Govt officials and the august gathering at the function.

  2. GESIA Congratulates All Winners at  In his welcome address Mr Shah mentioned the initiatives taken by GESIA for the benefits of ICT industry at large, recently. He stated that, member companies had an interactive session with the state Government officials to share views and requests to Govt. about the problems being faced by the ICT industry. He thanked NASSCOM officials; Mr Rajiv Vaishnav, VP, NASSCOM and Dr. Chentan Samant for their continued support and help in organizing such national level seminar at Ahmedabad. GESIA has signed an MoU with CMAI Association of India for the common desire of CMAI and GESIA to maintain and further promote cooperation and understanding for the purpose of promoting the development of trade and business relations in the field of communications, ICT, infrastructure, SME etc.

The Speakers in the first ever National seminar on Emerging Technologies & Opportunities for ICT Industry were; • New Delhi, the capital and the third largest city of India is a fusion of the ancient and the modern. Arrangements envisaged • Mr. Amit Yadav, (GSM: 97 119 95142) will be at the Airport to receive and arrange transportation and coordinating welcome of each delegates and onward transportation to Hotel • Ms. Bhawna (GSM: 97 182 58600) will be at Hotel Reception to coordinate and receive and guide the guest for easy check-in. Hotel will do traditional Indian Welcome to all guest and a separate Desk for documentation at the Hotel Lobby. She will also be coordinating activities and movements of Spouse for local transportation/shopping etc • Mr. Navtesh (GSM: 97 118 69771) will be available as a in-house hand support for getting any essential supplies for the guests like additional special toiletries, cosmetics, eatables, munchies, water, napkins, flowers, souvenirs • Two Cell phone with SIM Card will be provided complimentary for AEF Secretariat for local coordination with facility for incoming/outgoing local calls. • Paid Traditional Indian Ayurvedic Massage (Kerala Massage) can also be arranged to distress and general well being.   14. General TIPS as a Tourist • Always change Foreign Currency at Hotel, designated Banks. Delegate can take help of Mr. Navtesh (GSM: 97 118 69771 ). Do not hand over Foreign Currency to any body. • Do not get lured to 5 or 7 star massage advertisements in News Papers. They are mostly cheats and illegal too. • TIPS generally range between 5% to 10% depending up on the service. No tip expected by Tax Driver, Fast Food Counters. Generally tip to Bell Boy in Hotel (Rs.10-20), Restaurant Tip (Rs. 50-100). No tip expected at Hotel Check out cashier level generally. • Do not tip without seeking advice as some services may include tips • Bring proper winter clothing's and a good pair of sport shoes • Carry enough energy bar/water, sun glasses, cap • Pork/Beef not served during any Lunch or Dinner
