Status In 2011: Sentara • Leverage Sentara Relationship • Developed “Lean/6σ Facilitator” & “Lean/6σ Executive” training • Graduated first Healthcare Lean/6σ Facilitator group • “Lean/6σ Principles for Executives” • “Lean Overview” for all 15 Sentara Divisions • “Lean Leadership in Healthcare” presented at Sentara Leadership conference this month. • Project Implementation Proposal “Signed” for multiple projects at various divisions
Status In 2011: Municipalities • Leverage VB School Plant Maintenance project • Utilize ODU relationships to meet with local Mayors and City Managers (tbd) • Featured workshop at Virginia School Plant Maintenance Managers Conference in Roanoke on October 20th.
Status In 2011: Northrop Grumman • Leverage Northrop Grumman Relationship • Created a new program to provide training in “Lean Certificate” utilizing tuition re-imbursement • Graduated First Class in October • Second wave to begin in January 2011 • Plan to make program available to all hourly employees • Expanded training in Apprentice School
Status In 2011: Quality Mgt. • Expand QMS penetration • Two new contracts signed for ISO implementation with Apogee and Wolf Creek • Lean ISO at ATG / Lean QMS Consulting • Continue to deliver Internal Auditing Services • Partnering with GENEDGE for Audit Services (F. Watson)
