  1. Iconic Fashion and Style in Breakfast at Tiffany’s Looking back, it seems that Audrey Hepburn and Breakfast at Tiffany’s fused seamlessly together. But did you know that author of the book on which the movie was based, Truman Capote, wanted Marylyn Monroe to play the role of call girl Holly Golightly? It was a welcome break for Audrey Hepburn from being a princess and a chauffeur’s daughter, roles she had played till then. 

  2. Hepburn and Hubert de Givenchy worked closely on designing her wardrobe. What she wore in the film was simple, elegant and iconic. Breakfast at Tiffany’s was the movie that made the black sheath dress a winner for all times.
