Denmark • The objectives of the law to implement the international dimension in education • Knowledge about African countries in education generally based on information from traditional sources, but Internet makes it possible to work directly and on equal terms with African schools. • European, national and local interest in using ICT in education Africa • Equal interest in being part of the ICT development • Wish for educating the coming generations The ESP/ECOLE Conference 2003 Kirsten M. Youth Meeting Youth Objectives • Create a human and technical platform for a direct collaboration between schools in the participating countries • Enhance teaching and learning by integrating the use of e-mail, Internet and TV. • Promote exchange of ideas and experiences about European and African conditions and thus form a basis for intercultural understanding The ESP/ECOLE Conference 2003 Kirsten M. They are a vital component of the life of the school.
