Physical Features • Highest Point: Fairweather Mountain, 4,663m/ 15,299ft • Lowest Point: Pacific Ocean, sea level • Breathtaking landscaping like: mountains to climb, rivers to run, beaches to comb, forests to hike • British Columbia is famous for its spectacular mountains and beautiful coastal scenery

  4. Climate in British Columbia is influenced by latitude, the Pacific Ocean. This diversity causes wide variations in average rainfall, snowfall, temperature and even hours of sunshine (somtimes in very short periods of time) Climate

  5. Winter on the coast are temperary, if it snows it doesn't stay long Most of B.C's interior, on the other hand, experiences freezing temprates and snow lasting from November to March (full winter wearnecessary for comfort: a heavy coat, a warm hat and gloves)‏ Winter

  6. Spring and Fall can be fairly warm and pleasant, esecailly in June and September.Day time temperatures-particuly in southwestern BC and south Spring and Fall

  7. Summer are are hottest in BC's interior particrlarly in the southwestern corner Summer

  8. British Columbia only has 2 regions and they are the Cordillera and a small part in B.C. Is the Interior Plains Regions

In British Columbia there are 6 defferent peices of land there are: Northern British Columbia, Cariboo Chilcotin Coast, The Islands, Vancouver Coast and Mountains, Thompson Okanagan, BC Rockies 4/6 of thes parts in BC have a water coast and Mountains Northern British Columbia is the biggest part in British Columbia Parts in British Columbia

  10. Vancover and Whistler are located in the Vancover coast and Mountains Victoria is located in The Islands (Vancover Island)‏ Parts in British Columbia

  11. Natural Resources • Fishing • A natrual resource British Columbia has is lots of salmon fishing and fish (they are surrounded by the Pacific Ocean)‏ • Forestry • B.C. Has half of Canada's softwood • British Columbia's forest industries record factory shipments of $9.2 billion in 2009

  12. British Columbia is Canada's third-largest generator of hydro electricity, providing some of the lowest power costs in North America. The province is also Canada's second-lagest natural gas producer, and the oil and gas industry continues to see tremendous growth, particularly in north- eastern B.C. Mining was the second-largest indrstry in B.C. *Cooper, coal, natural gas, oil, zinc, gold, silver, nickel, and iron B.C.
