  3. It was founded in 1980, being an international non-governmental organization dedicated to the defense, promotion and protection of human rights.

  4. Amnesty International Amnesty International is a non-governmental organization focused on human rights. The objective: investigate and generate action to prevent and end abuses of human rights.

  5. Itwas founded in London in 1961 by the lawyer Peter Benenson.
