  3. Proposed Title CBtSSS Capacity-Building towards Sustainability of Small Schools

  4. Pious Foundation To reach out to other smaller CEAP member schools that may need assistance.

  5. Principles • A project must address a specific inadequacy of beneficiary school; • Project design & implementation details must be agreed upon by both benefactor & beneficiary; • Beneficiary must have potential to be sustainable once assistance is given and completed;

  6. Principles… • Capacity-building project must not be designed to run into perpetuity; • Beneficiary school must make a concrete & explicit counterpart contribution to the project; and • As much as possible, benefactor & beneficiary should come from the same region.

  7. Project Types • Consulting & Supervision • Manpower Development & Exchanges • Resource Sharing & Emergency Assistance

  8. Processes & Roles • CEAP National Tertiary Commission • Steer and oversee the CBtSSS Program. • Regional CEAP Office • Assist in the implementation of CBtSSS at the regional level. • CEAP Executive Director • Manage the project.
