  3. T The Chemical Educational Foundation®: Identity The Chemical Educational Foundation® (CEF) and its identity are more than a logo or name on a piece of paper. They are an entire collection of communications that surround the organization, its programs, and its events. From press releases to committee reports, and graphics used on venue signage to PowerPoint presentations, this document serves as the resource for properly communicating all things CEF. Why is this important? Appropriate and consistent use of the CEF name, logo, and its program information are crucial to our collective identity. This helps create a uniform look used by all CEF constituents, places greater emphasis on our mission, and reflects the growth of our organization and the expansion of our You Be The Chemist ®programs. In doing so, CEF and its programs become more recognizable nationwide and better positioned as a leader in the quest to enhance science education. Please refer all questions to the CEF Communications Manager by e-mail at comments@chemed.org or by phone at 703/527-6223.
