Entrepreneurial learning • Entrepreneurship is defined as a dynamic process where individuals identify possibilities and reshape ideas into practical and goal-oriented work in for example social, cultural or economic activities • Entrepreneurship is about an approach to learning, comprising all working methods that stimulate students’ self-reliance, self-knowledge, creativity, energy, and ability to cooperate and communicate. • The entrepreneurial teacher is aware of her/his power and understands that the meaning of her/his power is to give others power.  It is about giving students power for their own learning http://goo.gl/uQqZHJ 21st century education 21st century education Australia : http://goo.gl/idmIdA

  3. What’s involved • Pilot trip to meet partners and discuss objectives- context and relationships. • Visits (mobilities)with planned agendas dependent upon teachers involved. . (Swedish teachers :programme (1 day focus in each school plus cultural visit) British teachers there: focus on Broman ?) • Monthly Skype. • Share reflections and ideas on ‘DevonRegioSweden’ wordpressblog • Link experiences to Appraisal and CPD in 2013/14 6. Final Dissemination conferences in each country in 2015.

DHSB to organise. • Summer 2014- Project groups 2 and 3 from Devon • Sat Feb 28 - Fri March 6 2015 Project Group 3 from Sweden. TC to organise

Entrepreneurial learning in the digital environment: Insight into Swedish methods of entrepreneurship e.g:1:1 use of computers in learning, marking and feedback to students, Examination of the Swedish emphasis on real world learning and enhancement of such opportunities for DHSB students.   10. Newton Abbott College • Increasing motivation and achievement of a specific group of students( lower attainers or those in danger of low attainment.) How: using ICT demo software to plan lessons or a series of lessons that students deliver using Impero software in order that the students are empowered by taking responsibility for leading learning. Draft Question focus for the audit: • - student leadership of learning • - how much ownership • - measure progress • - motivation • - engagement • - inclusion • - “Can I contribute?” • -“I know what to do to attain…” • - aspiration contra expectation: the gap between • - do you offer formative assessment more often now than…? • - the usefulness of digital equipment from a pedagogical point of view • - digital natives - a different kind of socialisation (miss out of body language, gestures, tone) • - blended learning – the need to balance.
