  2. It consists of a dress-shaped peninsula and two large islands on the Mediterranean Sea: Sicily and Sardinia. North borders with Switzerland and Austria, west with France and eastern with Slovenia, while Italy is the Italian town of Campione, located on the territory of Switzerland. The independent countries of San Marino and the Vatican are entirely in Italian territory.

  3. Christmas customs of Italy In Italy the Christmas season has the longest duration of all the other countries in the country. It begins on December 8th and on the 6th of January the Epiphany day. During this period the houses are decorated with Alexandrian Christmas trees, the traditional Fathi and others colorful ornaments. On December 25 after traditional lunch, children are used to recite poems to families and relatives and are rewarded with small gifts. An important day is the 6th of January, when the famous Befana arrives in the night, the famous poor witch comes and eats walnuts and biscuits that left her children before flying away

  4. Τhe Colosseum AmphitheatrumFlavium or more commonly known as the Colosseum (Colosseum, the Italian Colosseo) was an amphitheater in Rome. It is located in the SE. side of the Roman Forum. After earthquakes and pillaging over the centuries it is today one of the most popular tourist attractions of modern Rome.

The Torre di Pisa The Torre di Pisa is the so-called "campanile" (bell tower) in Italy, or an independent bell tower in the cathedral of the Italian city of Pisa, and is known worldwide for its unintentional inclination. It is located behind the Cathedral and is the third oldest building on Duomo Square, Piazza del Duomo, after the Cathedral and the Circular Baptistery of Pisa, and next to the Cemetery.
