COMMISSARY CONTRACTS • Last year for these contracts, unless substantial usage occurs in 2006. • 5 Contractors currently under contract with a total of 24 Units available throughout the western United States. • MAP for all contractors 4/15 to 10/20. • Some contractors may be willing to forgo the mobilization/demoblization costs, mileage cost and daily availability just to be able to get a dispatch. • CO – Colleen Hightower 208.387.1246

  8. Airtankers • 16 airtankers available for 2006. • Neptune Aviation – 7 P 2 V’s. • Minden Air – 2 P 2 V’s. • Aero Union – 7 P3’s. • Additional Models being considered for the future.

  9. HELICOPTERS • Will continue to aggressively utilize Ex-Use vs. CWN. A helicopter coordinator will be positioned at NIFC to assist in managing these resources. • Call When Needed • Approximately 255 helicopters available for 2006. • CWN Standards in place for over a year. • 1st option period. • Exclusive Use • 15 Type I Helitankers; 33 Type I • 28 Type II

  10. SMOKEJUMPER AIRCRAFT • Awarded 2 new contracts. Base Year with 4 Options. • Bighorn – Redding, W. Yellowstone & N.Cascades. • Leading Edge - Grangeville

  11. NATIONAL T2 CREW CONTRACTS • Office of General Counsel is reviewing the solicitation. • Expect to issue first part of May. • Soliciting for a total of 37 crews • 18 Oregon • 4 Washington • 7 Montana • 5 Idaho • 1 Utah • 2 North Carolina

  12. National Mobile Shower Facilities • Option Year 2. • 2 Options Periods remain. • Specs & Unit Summaries available at www.fs.fed.us/fire/contracting. • 26 units available. • 5 of these are ADA equipped.

National Mobile Food Services • We are going into Option Year 1 of the contracts. • All contractors that had a contract with us last year will be renewed. • Specs & Unit Summaries available at www.fs.fed.us/fire/contracting. • 20 units currently available. • In the process of making awards at Kanab,UT; Bakersfield, CA & Goldendale, WA.

  14. COR QUALIFICATIONS • Must meet or exceed DR 5000-1 requirements. • Reference FSH 6309.32. • Minimum 24 initial hours of procurement training. • 16 hours maintenance training every 2 yrs. • Training must be FAI compliant. • Send me your certificates of completion.
