  2. Intelligent Dr. Seuss was very intelligent. Here are some ways: • very good writer because he wrote multiple books • could organize his ideas well because they happened in chronological order • could think of interesting ideas to pull us into the story Dr. Seuss was very intelligent. • This is the first book Dr. Seuss ever published. It was published in 1937. As you can see it is called And to Think that I Saw it on Mulberry Street.

  3. Creative Dr. Seuss was creative in many ways. Here are some ways: • could think outside of the box like Truffla trees from the Lorax • created many wacky characters like the Grinch • rhymed in all of his books Dr. Seuss was creative in many ways. This is one of Dr. Seuss’ sketches. It is of the Grinch of course.

  4. Determined Dr. Seuss was determined in more ways than one. Here are some of them: • kept trying to get people to like his books even after they were rejected over and over again like when no one accepted his Boids and Beasties comics • would not let anyone stop him from doing something he wanted to • did anything he set his mind to Dr. Seuss was determined in more ways than one. This picture is of Dr. Seuss working. Sometimes he would sit there for many hours sketching and sketching. It took him a very long time to perfect a book.

  5. Kind Dr. Seuss was exceptionally kind. Here are some ways to show that: • never bullied people after he was bullied as a kid • was very respectful by using his manners • treated people like people and not like trash like he cared about them Dr. Seuss was exceptionally kind.

  6. Generous Dr. Seuss was very generous. Here are some ways of him being generous: • help start a publishing company for children’s books called Beginners Books • wrote books for children to help them learn • eventually won a special Pulitzer Prize for his contribution to children’s literature Dr. Seuss was very generous.

  7. Life Lessons Here are some life lessons we can learn from Dr. Seuss: • not to dwell on the past even if bad things happen • never give up even if sometimes you get rejected • you can put any feelings into a book if you just try Those are some life lessons.
