  2. WHEN WAS IT FOUNDED ? The CFA was founded in 1948. A fire fighter.

  3. HOW MANY VOLUNTEERS DOES IT HAVE ? The CFA has 58,000 volunteers. DID YOU KNOW ? • That a volunteer doesn't do it for money. The CFA smoke houses.

  4. WHAT NUMBER DO YOU CALL ? You call 000 for an emergency like a fire. • DID YOU KNOW ? That you also call 000 for POLICE and AMBULANCE as well.

  5. WHAT IS THEIR JOB ? Hazardous Material Disposal. They put out fires, go to car accidents , rescue animals and people , they teach people about fire safety and they learn how to use the fire equipment.

  7. WHAT DO THEY RESPOND TO ? Two fire fighters putting out a fire. The CFA respond to fires and any thing that might become a fire. EG. Lighting strikes and Car Accidents

  8. WHAT EQUIPMENT OR VEHICLES DO THEY USE ? The CFA use rescue trucks , fire fighting equipment and special protective clothing. DID YOU KNOW ? There are different fire trucks like the Pumper , the all Terrain vehicle ,the Aerial vehicle and the Tanker.
