  4. PRACTICE Does the sentence have a complete or simple subject and predicate? (if not, rewrite the sentence with a simple subject and simple predicate) A major earthquake damaged the city. Every time I leave my dog cries. When I leave my house my dog cries for hours. I can’t wait until middle school! Miss Russell makes hard spelling puzzles.
