  2. Create and improve products When businesses create a product they say its brand new but really they are not. When people find what is wrong with a product they try to upgrade it, or customize it to make it better. Just like the iPhone 1 then 2,3,4,4s, and 5.

  3. Plan marketing Research When there is a problem somewhere, you try to fix it. The same things are happening in a business. Businesses try to study the situation, find solutions and decide a solution that will work best for their problem. If their was a bad product in apple tries to find solutions by making the next generation faster and better then the previous one.

  4. Product Planning Procedures Product planning is costly and time-consuming There are many steps in planning a new product Idea development Idea screening Strategy development Production and financial planning Limited production and test marketing Full-scale production Products that go through the planning cycle have a better chance of succeeding

  5. Product Planning Product needs to be available through distribution Affordable fair price Aware of product through promotions Know why it meets your needs better than any other Business must meet the needs of the target market It needs to be better than similar products

  6. Parts of a Product A product is everything a business needs to satisfy the customer There are several components when it comes to a product Starts with a basic product Next is the product features Following is the customers options Subsequent is the brand name Second to last is the packaging of the product And lastly is the guarantee or warranty of the product

  7. Types of research studies When a business wants to find solutions to problems it has they want to hear from consumers. Then the business tries to send out any survey to them so they could get their feedback.

  8. Services It is easier to market products than it is to market services Marketers for services need to identify the target market and appeal to the market.The service must match the demand.
