  4. 3 Great Mysteries of Life #1 - Is there a God? #2 - If there is a God, then how can I know Him? #3 - If there is a God, and I can know Him, then how am I supposed to live?

  5. 1 For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles—2 Surely you have heard about the administration of God’s grace that was given to me for you, 3 that is, the mystery made known to me by revelation, as I have already written briefly.

  6. #1 – Paul is a PRISONER But not of Rome, nor the Jews, but of Jesus!

  7. #2 – Paul is an administrator of God’s MYSTERIES

  8. “Administration” – in charge of the house while the master is gone “Mystery” – something that has to be revealed by God because he is the only one who knows the answer

  9. Mystery #1 Is there a God?

  10. Revelation Yes, LOOK to Christ (v. 4)

  11. 4 In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ,

  12. Mystery #2 If there is a God, then how can I know Him?

  13. Revelation LISTEN to the witnesses of Christ (v. 5)

  14. But now this mystery of God has been revealed through Jesus to the “apostles” and “prophets”

  15. Mystery #3 If there is a God, and I can know Him then what do I do now?

  16. Revelation LEARN to serve Christ (v. 7)

  17. “I became a servant of the gospel by the gift of God’s grace given me through the working of his power”

  18. - We are LAZY, selfish sinners or we are overcommitted, STRESSED-OUT sinners • We don’t think we are WORTHY to serve God • We wonder what can I do FOR GOD

  19. “In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence. I ask you, therefore, not to be discouraged because of my sufferings for you, which are your glory.”
