  2. The Birth of Douglass Fredrick Douglass was born around February 14, (around 1817 or 1818)1818, on aslavery plantation in Talbot County, Maryland. His mother’s name was Harriet Bailey. She was a slave. His father was an unknown white man. Douglass’s mother died when he was ten. From then on Fredrick’s grandmother and grandfather kept him for the rest of his life. Their names were Grandmamma Betsey and Grandpa Isaac.

  3. The Kids of Douglass Douglass had five kids. Their names were Fredrick Douglass Jr., Rosetta Douglass, Lewis Henry, and Charles Douglass, and Annie Douglass.

  4. The Wives of Douglass Douglass had two wives. His first wife was Ann Murray Douglass was the mother of Fredrick’s children. Then he married a woman named Helen Pitts Douglass. Fredrick’s kids did not like her because she was young and she was white.

  5. Douglass’s Accomplishments Fredrick Douglass became an Abolitionist, American civil rights and female rights as well. Such as an activist, orator, author, journalist, publisher, and social performer perpetrate to independence. Fredrick devoted his own existed to completing morality for all Americans in specific, African American, and minority groups.

  6. The Death of Douglass Fredrick Douglass died February 20, 1895 from a heart attack or stroke. Douglass was a great man and changed the world how we know it.

  7. Keys to Douglass’s Success Fredrick Douglass was good friends with Abraham Lincoln. Douglass was powerful from reading and writing. So if Douglass did not learn how to read and write, education would not be power.
