Biography: • Ella era nacida en septimbre 2, 1996. • Salma’s birthplace was in Coatzacoalcos, Mexico. • Her father was a rich business man who spoiled her and her brother Sami, and her mother was an opera singer. • Her actual name is Salma Valgarma Hayek-Jimenez. • She became inspired to be an actress whenever she watched the movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory at a local theatre. • After her education at a convent school, she landed a role in the Movie Teresa which earned her a star status in native Mexico. • After this, she decided to move to Los Angeles to make more films in 1989. • However, her career as an actress did not take off at first because Latin actresses were usually mistress maids or local prostitutes.

Biography • By late 1992, she played small parts in movies like Street Justice, The Sinbad Show,Dream On, and Mi Vida Loca. • With her frustrations building up about being under appreciated, Salma decided to appear and talk about it on Paul Rodriguez’s late night Spanish talk show. • This appearance got the attention of a producer named Robert Rodriguez who thought she was intelligent and an opinionated young woman. • Rodriguez gave her roles in movies like Desperado,Wild Wild West, and Frida. • Como resultaldo, Salma consiguió muchospremios y nominaciones.
