Jesus was preached to Greeks(Acts 11:19-21) • Preaching Jesus(Acts 8:5, 12, 35): • Kingdom of God • Name of Jesus Christ • Plan of salvation (baptism) • Believed and turned (two actions) – Acts 11:21 (cf. Jno. 12:42-43) • Believe: Have the right to become a child of God, Jno. 1:12 • Turn: Obey gospel commands, Acts 2:37-38; 3:19 4

Lessons for Us • Don’t be discouraged when people reject the gospel • Look for new opportunities for the gospel (Acts 22:21; 11:19-21) • Good & honest hearts still exist & will receive the gospel (11:26) • Christ will bless the faithful work of His servants (11:21, 24, 26) • Disciples belong to Christ, not the world (11:26; Gal. 3:27-28) 7
