2. The water cycle • The water cycle goes over and over again. The same water has been here for over 200,000,000 years. There can be dangerous water too. People die every minute because of dangerous water that has got diseases in it.

3. Water Vapour • This is water vapour rising up from a lake. Water vapour goes straight up into the air and then this is what makes clouds. Then it rains and the water goes back into the sea and it goes on over and over again.

Water facts • People can live without food for about one month however people can only live without water for about 1 week. • 68% of the world is water and 32% is land. • Water has a special molecular structure • Water can form bonds with any positively or negatively charged atom. • Water can dissolve many other substances • Water can carry good and bad molecules.

7. Good things about water Water is good for lots of things. Firstly for food and secondly for cleaning and washing. Strawberries need washing because of all the mud on them. This uses water for a good reason.

8. Japanese Tsunami • This is a man trying to pull someone out of a big Tsunami that hit Japan a few years ago.

9. This is how a Tsunami happens. There is a fault line where the plates meet. However this one has moved and caused an earthquake. As you can see one of the plates goes up and the wave moves.

10. More facts about water • Water is your body’s principal chemical component, making up, on average, 60% of your body weight. Every system in your body depends on water. For example, water flushes toxins out of vital organs, carries nutrients to your cells and provides a moist environment for ear, nose and throat tissues. • Lack of water can lead to dehydration, a condition that occurs when you don’t have enough water in your body to carry out normal functions. Even mild dehydration can drain your energy and make you tired.

11. Animals and water • Water is very important to animals and plants because it helps them grow. • Animals that are smaller than humans need alot less water than we do. They need about 15 litres and we need about 45 litres.

12. Evaporation Evaporation happens when the rain goes up into the sky. It is the same with the sea water, snow and hail stones. Evaporation is when the rain goes up because of the hot sun , when that happens you can not see it go up. Water Water can be used for lots of things , you use it to drink, to wash things , you need it to swim, and you need it to cause a tsunami .

15. Water safety • You need to use water when you get a cut , because you need to clean your cut out ,other wise it stays dirty and you get an infection in it and it will sting if it has a infection. That is why you need water , other wise that will happen to you!!!!!!!!!!
