Alternate Planning Criteria • 33 CFR 155.5067 Alternate Planning Criteria • “owner or operator of nontank vessel believes that national planning criteria…are inappropriate for the areas in which the vessels intend to operate…may submit an alternative planning criteria.” • “provide for an equivalent level of planning, response, or pollution mitigation strategies.” • “must be endorsed by the COTP”
