This project, led by Jessica Karl under the guidance of advisor Patrick Watson, aims to enhance female representation in the animation industry, which has been traditionally male-dominated. The initiative seeks to engage more young women in digital animation by researching trends in clothing and character design tailored to female perspectives. A website and a 1-2 minute animation featuring diverse female characters will be created to inspire confidence and attract more female students to CSUMB’s animation program. This project embodies a commitment to foster a more inclusive animation landscape.
