  1. All You Want to Know About The Golden Circle

  2. Regardless of the season, every Iceland travel company will take you to the Golden Circle of Iceland. Anyone talking about excursions in Iceland will mention, at least once, the Golden Circle which includes three different spots. However, what most people miss out are two additional locations which lie within the circuit of the Golden Circle. Only if you book a tour with one of the well-known travel organizations in Iceland, you will get to see those places. The Golden Circle encompasses some unique sites which are famous in every part of the world. What’s more interesting is that you can complete the trip in one day.

  3. The Thingvellir national park: The Grand Golden Circle day trip which you booked from Go to joy Icelandwill start with the Thingvellir national park. It is a UNESCO world heritage site and for several good reasons. Firstly, it is a geological wonder because it lies on the intersection of the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates. Secondly, the world’s first parliament building still lies here where the first meeting took place in 930 AD and continued almost till 1800.

  4. The Geysir: • Geysiris the Iceland word for ‘geyser,’ and it is the second stop in the Grand Golden Circle day trip. The Geysir is a perfect example of erupting hot water springs, but unfortunately, the Geysir is now dormant. Not to worry, because now, the Geysir’s younger brother Strokkur erupts with equal vigor. The event occurs in every few minutes where a jet stream of water reaches an average of fifteen to twenty meters in the air.

  5. The Gullfoss Waterfalls: • The third spot is the most famous waterfall in Iceland, which is the Gullfoss. Surprisingly, it is the second most powerful waterfall in the entire European continent. The water disappears into the earth after dropping down in two different stages where the first is about eleven meters and the second is slightly more than twenty meters.

  6. The Faxi Waterfalls: • The fourth stop is the Faxi Waterfalls which is one of the spots which other travel organizations don’t include in a golden circle package. The height of this waterfall is unimpressive, but its width is what attracts the attention of every sightseer. The breadth of the waterfall is almost eighty meters, and the origin of this waterfall is the river Tungufljot, which is full of salmon fishes.

  7. The Kerid: • The last spot in the trip is the Kerid which is a volcanic crater. It doesn’t look like a profoundly violent outlet of lava beacauseit is shockingly colorful. It lies in the southern sections of the nation with other volcanic zones like the Reykjanes peninsula and the Langjokull glacier. The Kerid comprises of red volcanic rock unlike other calderas, and it is full of green plant outgrowths and a small patch of blue water in the center.

  8. It will come true All dreams don’t come true but this one will if you book a tour with the travel agency as soon as possible. Iceland is one of the most favorite destinations for travel enthusiasts and more and more people are frequenting the nation. This rapid surge in tourism is a boon for the country but is also a curse since it is a small country and doesn’t have a lot of accommodation facilities. If you walk down the streets of Reykjavik, you will come across numerous under-construction hotels which clearly states that Iceland is extremely busy catering to its visitors. So, to avoid any hassles regarding finding the right accommodation, you will be wise to book your trip as early as possible.
