Your journey entails…… • Courses that are co-taught by English and TED faculty members in order to give TSLs a deep understanding of English Language Arts and pedagogical content knowledge. • English and methods courses are clearly aligned with the Common Core State Standards in order to ensure that teachers are knowledgeable of the standards and curriculum materials before entering the classroom. • Field Experience & Seminar • Focuses on the connections between current coursework and practice/observations in classrooms. • Focus on implications of coursework and field experiences in future classrooms in order to recognize the connection between theory and practice. • Our course descriptions provide a detailed view of the courses available in our program.
