You can install this trusted software through www.office.com/setup Activate. It offers user friendly interface but some users face the Window Update error code 800b0100. Fix Window Update Error Code 800b0100:

  2. 1.Run Windows Update Troubleshooter: For this, you have to press Win + I to open Settings. Then you have to Choose Update and Security option. After this, just click on Troubleshoot from the left side. On the right side, you have to select Windows Update and then click on Run the troubleshooter. Follow all the instructions to complete the process. Check the error is solved or not. 2. Use System Update Readiness Tool:

  3. First you have to download System Update Readiness tool by going to the official website of Microsoft i.e. office.com/setup. Now, follow all the instructions to install it. In the Windows Update Standalone Installer window, just you have to click on Yes option. Once the System Update Readiness tool is installed, it will scan your PC. After this, just click on Close. 3: Install Windows Update Manually: For this, you have to search for Microsoft Update Catalog. Then enter the update number which you want to download and then press Enter key. Now select the update according to your operating system. Then just click on Download button to download the update. Just click on Browse to choose a location, and then just click on Continue to save it. After this, just click on Close option. Now open the update package and double-click on it to install the update. 4: Disable Antivirus Software or Windows Firewall: First just press Win + R to open Run window. Here you have to select Turn off Windows Defender Firewall and then click OK button. 5: Delete or Rename the Software Distribution Folder: Stop Windows Update Service: To modify Software Distribution folder, you have to disable Windows Update service. You have to enter services.msc in Run window and then just press Enter key. In the pop-up Services window, you have to right- click on Windows Update and then just select Stop option from menu. After this, you should exit Services and then just delete/rename the folder. Delete/Rename the Software Distribution Folder For this, open File Explorer and go to C:\Windows folder and locate Software Distribution folder and then you have to delete it, or rename it. 6: Run System File Checker: For this, you have to click on Start menu. Then you have to type cmd in the search box. After this, right-click

  5. Command Prompt and then just choose Run as administrator. Now you have to enter sfc /scannow and then press Enter key. It will scan the system for file issues. Wait for some time and then exit Command Prompt. At the end, restart the computer. 7: Update Your Drivers: For this, go to Control Panel and then select Hardware and Sound option. After this, choose Device Manager. Then you have to double-click a category to expand it. Now, right-click a device and then select Update Driver Software. In the pop-up window, you have to click on Search for updated driver software. Then it will download and install the latest driver for your device.
