  2. Aging Assessment of Electrical Cables and Connectors • 2003 IEC General Meeting in Montreal Canada nuclear standards group (45A) initiated efforts to draft an IEC standard. • Scope/content will likely be very similar to IEEE Std 1205-2000. • Issuance is not expected before 2005.

Aging Assessment of Electrical Cables and Connectors in Lithuania Questions for thought: • Are Ignalina NPP electrical and instrumentation cables similar to those in US and Western Europe? • Do EQ profiles exist for critical INPP rooms and zones containing electrical and instrumentation cables? • What condition monitoring equipment, capabilities, or laboratories currently exist at INPP or within Lithuania?
