  3. Draft Mission Statement The Amador-Calaveras Consensus Group is a community-based organization that initiates, encourages, and implements balanced efforts to improve the environmental, economic and social well-being of our communities and citizens.  

  4. The Amador-Calaveras Consensus Group is a community-based organization that works to create fire-safe communities, healthy forests and watersheds, and sustainable local economies.

  5. Key Questions for the Group • Enhance or Restore? • Improve or Sustain? • Should recreation be included? • Should the ACCG as a model be included? • Other key items as identified by the Group.

  6. Draft Vision Amador and Calaveras Counties have healthy and sustainable economies, natural environments, and communities.

  8. Next Steps • Authorize subcommittee to continue work on guiding principles, roles, and responsibilities? • Authorize subcommittee to begin work on forest restoration principles for the group?
