  1. National support measure « LuxLAUNCH » - Objectives • Support industry and research organizations to better understand the market they want to penetrate • Increase actor’s visibility in this sector and identify the needs in products and services in a given market • Better estimate the investments to be done to enter a given market and reduce risks related to it • Identify niches • Identify opportunities in the programs of the European Space Agency • Safeguard Luxembourg investments in ESA programs by increasing the chances to participate to a given program • Support and reinforce international cooperation and networking • Support the Government in defining its long term research and development axes in the space sector

  2. LuxLAUNCH - Scope • The aim of this special measure is to realize preparatory studies to help industry and research organizations to position themselves in the space market. Particular efforts investigating applications in the domains of satellite telecommunications, satellite navigation and earth observation will be encouraged. • The results of these studies should benefit a group of Luxembourg actors in this sector and should be available to the Luxembourg industrial and scientific communities. The typical duration of such a study should not exceed 6 months with maximum costs around 150 k€. • It is important to note that this measure is not meant to finance R&D projects.
