  2. Status Report: ILDG Middleware • JLDG site: www.jldg.org is in production • MDC WS • Using “Exist” XML database. We need to update with a new version. • RC WS • Simple WS : one-to-one mapping from LFN to Transfer URL (http) • We plan to replace a new FC interface. • No SRM • File transfer • httpd for “wget” under simple access control by .htaccess • gsiftp file transfer is also available. It checked by Interoperable testing . • gridmap-file will be sync’ed automatically with ILDG VOMS (very soon!) • QCDArchive: Lattice QCD Archive, Japan • WS-enabled version of Server-side client • MDC WS interface is used for MetaData Search • No progress since the last ILDG9

JLDG: Regional Grid • JLDG: Japan Lattice Data Grid • New grid infrastructure for Lattice community in Japan • File Sharing with “GFarm” Global File System • http://datafarm.apgrid.org • Provide file directory image by meta server • Efficiency and reliability by replica & cache • ACL by group • GSI authentication managed by VOMS • Use NAREGI/KEK CA (international) • Use JLDG CA (local) • Some part of configuration data will be exported (published) to the ILDG by registering with metadata JLDG: infrastructure of QCD collaboration inside Japan A part of data can be exported through www.jldg.org KEK CCS, Tsukuba Kanazawa university Kyoto University U. HIroshima Data in each site is shared by “Gfarm” global file system over the grid.

Plan & Schedule • JLDG regional Grid • Move from “prototype” to “production” (almost ready!) • Establish the flow of CA/RA operations and VO management for JLDG members • Develop some middleware to publish data from JLDG regional grid to ILDG (by September?) • ILDG middleware and severs • Replace RC with FC • Extend our QCDArchive to support multiple client • Design and Develop client softwares • It is a time to think how to use ILDG! • Enroll users for both JLDG and ILDG!
