Accomplishments of 2007 Staff • Washington Wellness staff complete • Wellness Coordinator for every agency HRA • HRA available for all • Capability to measure/report HRA completion rates • 13 agencies > 30% Wellness Coordinators • Training: in-person and phone • Web-based Resource Center and HRA reporting • Agency Wellness Committees developed

  19. Flu Vaccination Campaign • In progress through March 2008 • Key message January-February: It’s not too late to get a flu shot! • Survey and evaluation • Identify “best practices” and incorporate into 2008-09 campaign

  20. Go Red Campaign • Awareness campaign for #1 killer of women: heart disease • Governor Gregoire’s proclamation will encourage all citizens in Washington State to wear red on February 1 • Promotional materials available in online Resource Center

  21. Governor’s Health Bowl • Friendly worksite competition—encourages physical activity • September – November 2008 • Promotional templates, tools, and resources through Washington Health Foundation Web site

Website Redesign • In response to user statistics, WCAC, Wellness Coordinators, best practices • Goal of “making it easy”: easy to use, easy to take action • Promote taking HRA, learning about conditions, contacting health plans, getting involved with agencies • Focus on employees but also supports retirees and families

Wellness Coordinators 2008 Expectations • Promote HRA completion to achieve > 30% • Select one of the other four WW priority areas to focus on (optional) for 2008 • Participate in at least 6 WW trainings • Share your successes and failures with WW staff and WC • Submit monthly reports to WW • Share tools you create with WW and WC
