  2. Integrity! • Integrity, “Adherence to moral or ethical principles; soundness of moral character, honesty.” (Random House) • “A sound, unimpaired, or perfect condition”

  3. Integrity! • Integrity, One whose character is upright and above reproach. His life in “intact” and it will NOT fall apart when tested. • Virtuous, uncompromising, honorable, genuine, upright.

  4. Integrity! • The opposite of hypocrisy – Matt. 23:14, Luke 18:9-14

  5. Integrity! • Titus 2:6-8, young men, “sober-minded, in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence…”

  6. Integrity! • 2 Pet. 1:5, “giving all diligence, add to your faith, virtue, to virtueknowledge…”Necessary before one can apply the knowledge of God’s word.

  7. Integrity! • Phil. 1:27-29, “only let your, conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ,…”

  8. Integrity! • Romans 5:3-4, tribulations produce perseverance, character and hope. • 1 Pet. 1:6-7, “the genuineness of your faith…thought it is tested, may be found to praise, glory and honor…”

  9. Integrity! • Prov. 10:9, “He who walks with integrity walks securely” • Prov. 11:3, “The integrity of the upright will guide them…” • Prov. 19:1, “Better is the poor who walks in his integrity…”

  10. Integrity! • Prov. 20:11, “Even a child is known by his deeds, whether what he does is pure and right.” • Psalm 7:8-10, “according to my integrity within me…”

  11. Integrity! • Job – Job. 1:8, 21-22, 2:3, 10, “Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?” • “In all this Job did not sin.”

  12. Integrity! • Moses – Heb. 11:24-26, 3:1-5, etc. • Numbers 16:15, Concerning Korah, Dathan and Abiram, “I have not taken one donkey from them, nor have I hurt one of them.” Also vs. 28 • Moses and Aaron continue to intercede for the people • Deut. 34:10

  13. Integrity! • Daniel – Daniel 6:3-5“…they could find no charge or fault, because he was faithful,…We shall not find any charge against this Daniel unless we find it against him concerning the law of his God.” • Dan 6:10, “…as was his custom since early days.”

  14. Integrity! • Paul – Acts 20:18-20, 26-272 Cor. 11:5-12, etc. • Jesus – John 8:46

  16. Integrity! • Necessary for leaders in the churchElders -1 Tim. 3:2Preachers – 1 Tim. 4:12, 16Deacons – 1 Tim. 3:10

  17. Integrity! • The pure heart will manifest integrity! It will NOT allow its character to be diminished by wrongful actions or words. It will NOT be morally corrupted.Convictions without and within!

  18. Integrity! • Seen in one’s view of God’s word Cf. Acts 17:11 • James 1:21, “receive with meekness the implanted word…”
