SEMINAR Goals • Review current understanding of the pathogenesis, diagnosis and management of various kidney disorders and its clinico-pathological correlations • Identify the most critical and promising areas for future basic, translational and clinical research in this field • To stimulate interest in Pediatric Nephrology as a career choice for future fellows in the field • To provide a communication network for future collaboration and career support for retention of current trainees

In his preface to the Proceedings of the Third International Congress of Nephrology, George Schreiner commented that “If a congress is successful, one can choose to underline the depth and breadth of its planning, the diversity of its scope, the admixture of talented guests, the quality of presentation, the status of the science behind the presentation, the level of excellence in the particular field, the interplay of personalities, the geographical setting, and even the weather.” I do believe the Miami Pediatric Nephrology Seminars throughout have accomplished all of these… THANK YOU all for making this another successful meeting!
