  1. Judaism Catholicism Buddhism Muslim Does It Matter To God? Christian

  2. The Question Is NOT… • Does It Matter To Me? • What Do Others Think? • Are These People Sincere? • What’s the General Consensus? • What Do the Theologians Believe? BUT… Does It Matter To God?

  3. Man Cannot Answer Without God’s Help! • These things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. (1 Corinthians 2:13) • how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already, by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ), (Eph. 3:3-4) • There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death. (Proverbs 14:12) • O LORD, I know the way of man is not in himself; It is not in man who walks to direct his own steps. (Jeremiah 10:23)

  4. Cain and Abel • They both worshipped God (Gen. 4:3-7) • God accepted Abel’s sacrifice of his flock • Rejected Cain’s offering of fruit of the ground • Abel’s offering made by faith (Heb. 11:4; Rom. 10:17) • Cain’s rejected because his works were evil (1 Jn. 3:12) Not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother's righteous.

  5. God and Idolatry “I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me. You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God…” (Ex. 20:2-6) There Was No Right Way One Could Worship An Idol!

  6. Other Examples: • Elijah versus prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel (1 Kgs. 18:1-40). • Nadab and Abihu (Lev. 10:1-4). • Naaman the Leper (2 Kgs. 5:1-14). • Could Naaman be sincere and dip in any other river and be cleansed? • Could he be sincere and dip less than 7 times and still be healed? • Naaman had the choice—obey or disobey.

  7. Salvation is In Christ! Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. (2 Timothy 2:10) In No Other Name! "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12) Christ is the Only Way! Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6)

  8. Not All “Christian” Religions Are Right! • Must wear the name of Christ. • Must teach the plan of salvation Christ taught. • Must worship according to Christ’s Will. • Must do only work authorized by Christ. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. (Colossians 3:17) Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. (2 John 1:9)
