  2. iOS, one of the world's most advanced mobile operating systems from Apple for iPhones and iPads, is out with new features with its latest upgrade iOS 7.1. This is not a complete version upgrade; hence there are no major changes in the way things work. However, Apple has announced excellent interface refinements and bug fixes, CarPlay to use iPhone in a lot better way while driving and some refreshing improvements to the way Siri works. The field of iPhone application development will definitely be able to derive advantages from the interface improvements to provide users with more sleek apps.

  3. Visual enhancements and performance fixes are the highlights of this rollout. Slide to power off and slide to unlock: The red rectangle for power off is gone! You will now see a oblong white slider. A circular white cancel button is also added at the bottom of the screen. Answering a call: The red and green rectangles for answering and declining calls are also gone! Instead, you will see circular red and green buttons for this functionality.

Dialer changes: The dialer in iOS 7 also sees changes in terms of adding contacts from dial screen and similar to accepting and declining calls, the dialed calls will also see circular green buttons instead of the rectangular ones. Music App: Music app sees minor visual changes to the repeat song and shuffle buttons

  5. Keyboard: The shift and delete keys are bolder with a distinct design. The keyboard now sees greater definition and it gets easier to tap accurately on the keys. Car Play: Just connect your iPhone to a compatible car display and use some features like maps, get directions, calls, messages, music and much more! The iOS features will be displayed on the car's navigational screen and you can just tap to use them. Controls for these features are also via buttons and knobs.
