JUCCCE: Change the way China creates and uses energy • Non-profit, established in 2007 with offices in Shanghai, Beijing and Washington D.C. • Widely recognized as a leading energy non-profit • Mission: to accelerate the greening of China through international collaboration on impactful programs to change the way China creates and uses energy in the near-term

  4. Key programs • Key programs: • the JUCCCE China Mayoral Training program • JUCCCE China Smart Grid Cooperative, • JUCCCE Clean Lights Distribution • the JUCCCE Energy Blueprint website for collaboration on energy programs.

  5. JUCCCE Energy Smart Cities Initiative • training sessions for Mayors, Vice Mayors, and State Owned Enterprise executives across China given by internationally recognized city leaders, industry leaders, NGOs and academics. • Up to 10 days for up to 50 attendees • created in partnership with the National Academy for Mayors • highlighted by the Clinton Global Initiative • Impact: • Since 2007, JUCCCE has trained over 150 mayors and 50 industry executives • To learn more: http://vimeo.com/4849516

JUCCCE China Smart Grid Cooperative • aims to accelerate the Smart Grid development in China • JUCCCE brings some of the most influential private enterprises and utilities from the US to meet key decision makers in China. • Assisted China’s State Grid announcing plan to implement Smart Grid by 2020 • Helped launch China’s first Smart Grid business hub in Yangzhou in 2009

Green Consumer Initiatives • Trains students, celebrities and press to help shape China's definition of the "China dream". • JUCCCE has given away 130,000 energy efficient lightbulbs across 7 cities; • Green Celebrities: trained actress Li Bingbing, singer Cheng Lin, supermodel Du Juan on green advocacy

  8. JUCCCE Energy Blueprint website for collaboration on energy programs • a Web 2.0 platform that facilitates collaboration within the energy industry • updated snapshot of every energy sector, including technologies, projects, policies, and players.

JUCCCE China Energy Forum:the Greening of Cities and Industry • one day with 30 Chinese mayors, 30 executives from China's largest enterprises. • 5 mayors and 5 SOEs’ stories on how they are meeting  China's energy efficiency challenges. • Government updates on US, New Zealand, India cooperation with China • IPCC Chair Rajendra Pachauri on climate resilience • McKinsey's new China water cost curve report • Energy experts from Dow Chemical, Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, and ICF

  10. My responsibilities •assist JUCCCE China Energy Forum, the first public international energy conference co-hosted with a Chinese government agency 
• translate key marketing collateral 
• shadow the Chief of Staff to Chairperson with organizational development, including research, translation, background checks,due diligence
