SAINT NICHOLAS THE PATRON SAINT OF BARI
Saint nicholas in bari • Saint Nicholas also called Nikolaos of Myra, was a historic 4th-century Christian saint. Because of the many miracles attributed to his intercession, he is also known as Nikolaos the Wonderworker. In 1087, part of the relics were furtively translated toBari, in Apulia, Italy; for this reason, he is also know asNikolaos of Bari and he’s the saint patron of Bari. Every year we celebrate him by some traditional festivities in his honor from the seventh to the ninth of May and on the sixth of December.
