  2. Originating Story • Zeus was born by Titans Cronus and Rhea. • Cronus swallowed every child Rhea had but Rhea tricked Cronus – giving him a rock with clothes as a substitution for he child – and she ran away with Zeus. • Zeus was raised secretly by Nymphs.

  3. Domain Zeus is the king of the gods, the ruler of Mount Olympus and the god of the sky and thunder.
